One of our most requested class is back!
Registration is open for The Stretch/Core Strengthening Class. The class will begin on Tuesday, March 7 from 6:30-7:30pm and will run for a 6 week session. This class will be held in studio and on Zoom for those who are more comfortable working from home. A class link will be sent every Sunday for admittance into the class. The class is open to anyone Ages 16+, no experience is required to participate.
The class is a gentle exercise class concentrating on a full body stretch to help reduce the daily stress and tightness in your muscles, (think neck, shoulders and back), as well as learning how to use your core muscles for better posture helping to support the upper back and lumbar area. You can work at your own pace. Alternate movements will be provided if you have weaknesses or injuries. The full body warm up will begin standing but the majority of the class will be floor work.
All you need to participate is a mat, 2# weights and comfortable clothes that allow you to move without restriction. If you do not have weights and are taking the class in person, there are weights you can use in the school. Zoom participants can use any size cans of vegetables or soup from your pantry.
