Although there are 5 weeks remaining in our Summer Dance Program and we continue to reach for goals, explore new possibilities and enjoy all that comes with a summer dance program, my attention also turns to preparing for another new Season at the Conservatory.
The Fall/Winter Season begins on Monday, September 9, 2024. A new season comes along with new changes and additions to our programs. The first and most important change to keep in mind as we go forward is that there will be a Winter Concert to take the place of our Spring Production. To avoid all school and personal conflicts (graduations, proms, musicals, rehearsals, sports, concerts and other commitments that the dancers have) in the Spring, a Winter Concert will provide more dancers the opportunity to perform in a classical ballet production. More information about new procedures and policies to be considered for inclusion in the production, will be sent in the registration package to all currently registered and new students once registration is completed. The possible performance dates as of now will be December 14 and/or January 18. A decision will be made once we are back to classes in September.
Registration for The Private Training Program is now open for currently registered students who wish to continue their Private Training during the new season. Because of time restraints, available time slots are very limited. Registration is recommended as soon as possible to insure that you can secure the day and time for your class and if you want to back it into core technique classes that may be on the same day. When registering for the Private Training Program you may also register for the core Technique classes as well. Registration will be taken on a first come first served basis. Once a time slot is taken, it's gone. The Private Training Program will open to former students and to the public on Monday, August 5.
Registration for all core and technique classes already placed into the schedule will open on Monday, August 5. As always class size is limited and capped at 6 dancers to provide individual attention to maximize the students training and to elevate the progress made throughout summer as well as their past training.
All dancers who are in pointe training need to add at least 1 technique core class to their private classes. Private Training Registration will continue until all spots have been taken.
Remaining on the Fall/Winter Schedule will be the Stretch/Strengthening class and the Open Tap class. These classes are available to all dancers and are great additions to ballet training.
Your first month tuition payment will be required the day of registration. Payments may be made through Venmo, Credit Card or by check.
Once your registration for any program is complete, a registration package, schedule and Personal Tuition Form will be emailed to you.
For more information on Programs available and to register you can use the Contact Us Page in the drop down menu to the left, by email or by calling or texting the School at (412) 877-0046.
I look forward to seeing all of our MCW and new dancers back at the barre soon!
